Therefore, the Logitech 922 Pro Stream keeps coming in at the top of review lists I'm googling. So without some way to control it I'm thinking of upgrading to a webcam with better lens/glass and tuning software. The autofocus seems to bounce around a lot and sometimes stays really soft when I move back a bit or introduce my hands momentarily. Thing is that I'm not happy with the auto focus and the amount of load this setup puts on my laptop when presenting (especially with a lot of stuff open naturally). So far so good in that it "just works" right? The form factor is very similar to the Logitech 92x series but I have no idea if I am optimising its performance as there is no software for it. My USB webcam however is a "noname" - it literally just says "2K Pixels / Auto Focus" and "Camera" on it and has pulled the generic Microsoft driver. I have achieved this without a greenscreen (which my office won't really accommodate) with reasonable background contrast and lighting that provides a good clarity and color temperature in my streams. I basically work in front of the camera all day every day, from presenting to general discussion meetings so what I can do with OBS is a huge professional deal to me! I am getting good results on my HP Elitebook Laptop at 30fps 1280x720 using Chromacam dynamic-greenscreen and OBS to feed a virtual camera into Zoom and Teams.
